Swapila, LLC operates a peer-to-peer marketplace for fashion exchanges. Our registered address is 82 Wendell Ave. STE 100, Pittsfield, MA 01201, USA.
Information We Collect
Account & Profile Information
When you sign up or log in (e.g., with Google), we collect your name, email address, profile photo, username, display name, and other profile details you choose to provide.
User Content
Listings, photos, item metadata, likes, follows, offers, messages, and other content you upload or generate on the Service.
Transactions & Payments
We collect order and checkout information including item details, amounts, credits used, shipping options, payment intent identifiers (e.g., from Stripe), refund identifiers, and status updates. We do not store full payment card details; payment processing is handled by our payment provider(s) (e.g., Stripe).
Shipping Information
Names, addresses, and contact information required to generate shipping labels and deliver items. We also store shipping label identifiers, tracking numbers, and related status provided by shipping partners (e.g., Shippo).
Device, Log & Usage Data
IP address, device type, operating system, app version, pages/screens viewed, features used, timestamps, diagnostics, and crash logs to help secure and improve the Service.

We use cookies and similar technologies on the web to remember your preferences and measure performance. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Push Notifications & Tokens
If you enable notifications, we store push tokens to send you updates (e.g., messages, likes, order events). You can turn notifications off in your device settings.

Order Cancellations & Refunds
When a seller cancels an order eligible for cancellation, we process a refund using our payment partner(s) (e.g., Stripe) and may request a shipping label refund from our shipping partner(s) (e.g., Shippo). To complete this, we share necessary identifiers (such as payment intent IDs and label transaction IDs) and store the outcome (e.g., refund IDs, status, timestamps) for accounting, troubleshooting, and compliance. The details of when an order may be cancelled and what is refundable are described in our Terms.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with:
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to handle payments and refunds.
- Shipping partners (e.g., Shippo) to generate labels, track shipments, and request label refunds.
- Infrastructure & database providers (e.g., our managed hosting and database platform) to run the Service.
- Analytics, security, and operational tools to maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and improve user experience.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users and the public.

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. For example, we keep order and refund records for financial and compliance purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure.

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
